Address lookup error in Activity and Trips Report

Customers may encounter the following error message when viewing an Activity and Trips report:

“The free XML port is temporarily unavailable”

This error message will only appear if the PC does not have Microsoft MapPoint installed.
Checkmate uses http://geocoder.ca/?terms=1 web service to lookup addresses in the event that Microsoft MapPoint is not installed on the machine. This service is not guaranteed and may appear offline or down at any time. As a result Checkmate will be unable to perform address lookups. GEOTAB recommends using Microsoft MapPoint as a primary commercial geocoding engine.
