This awards program highlights the critical role that fleet and transportation leaders play in addressing business challenges and creating exceptional outcomes.

What are the Geotab Innovation Awards? 

The Geotab Innovation Awards is an annual awards program that honors outstanding fleet teams and individuals who harness the power of data insights to tackle challenges, increase efficiency and enhance resilience. First held in 2023, the Geotab Innovation Awards shine a light on fleets leading the way in using connected vehicle technology to drive better outcomes for business, people and the planet.

“We believe that innovation is at the heart of Geotab's mission to empower businesses with the tools they need to increase safety, sustainability, and efficiency. It is important to recognize outstanding fleet individuals and teams who go above and beyond,” said Luke.

What are the award categories?

Geotab Safety and Maintenance Champion Awards

Geotab is proud to recognize fleet achievement with two prestigious Champion awards, which are nominated and selected by a panel of Geotab experts:

• Safety Champion — Recognizing the fleet that has demonstrated outstanding safety performance in the past year and a dedication to driver safety and wellness.
• Maintenance Champion — Recognizing the fleet that has transformed their operations through innovative maintenance practices to save costs, time and deliver premier customer service.

Innovation Awards

Geotab also recognizes fleets based on a data-driven score method comparing implementation, performance and impact compared to similar fleets. These awards are based on a proprietary data-driven insights model and include the following categories:

• Excellence — Small-med, Enterprise and Public Sector (Small-med and Enterprise)
• Sustainability — Small-med, Enterprise and Public Sector (Small-med and Enterprise)

• Productivity — Small-med, Enterprise and Public Sector (Small-med and Enterprise)

   

How to apply for the Geotab Safety Champion and Maintenance Champion Awards

The application process for the Geotab Safety Champion and Maintenance Champion awards is easy. To submit a nomination, provide the following details: 

• Your name and organization

• Nominee name and organization

• Award category (Safety Champion or Maintenance Champion)

• 500-word description of how the fleet has made an impact or performance improvement over the past year.

What are the eligibility criteria for the awards?

The Geotab Innovation Awards are open to fleets around the world of any size that are current Geotab users. Fleet teams or individuals are eligible for consideration. Previous award winners can be nominated again in new years.
