Adelaide office will serve Geotab’s Australian customers and partners in one of the world’s fastest-growing telematics markets

Adelaide, Australia - May 15, 2019 - Geotab, a global leader in IoT and connected transportation, today announced the opening of its new office location in Adelaide, Australia. With nearly a dozen offices throughout North America and Europe, Geotab’s new location in Australia will help to catalyze the company’s presence in the region, enabling further adoption of its award-winning fleet management solution.

With a growing presence in Australia over the last 15 years, Geotab began serving the Australian market in 2004 and currently equips nearly 25,000 vehicles across the continent with its telematics technology. The Geotab solution provides fleet owners and managers with greater visibility into areas such as idling times, harsh braking incidents, seat belt usage and more, enabling stronger compliance to regulatory changes and helping to improve driver and community safety.

With a projected compound annual growth rate of 16 percent through 2022, the Australian commercial telematics market continues to be one of the world’s strongest,” stated Neil Cawse, CEO of Geotab. “Our new Adelaide office keeps Geotab in the centre of that opportunity and ensures that our customers and partners always have convenient access to our local expertise.”

As one of the fastest growing telematics companies in the world, Geotab’s unique open-platform solution is utilised by more than 40,000 businesses around the globe. With the company’s technology found in more than 1.5 million vehicles worldwide, Geotab processes over 4 billion data points every day to provide customers with data-driven insights to help them better manage their fleet through increased productivity, improved driver behaviour and fuel efficiency and more.

“The opening of our Adelaide office is the latest example of Geotab’s commitment to our existing network of resellers and customers as well as our future growth plans across Australia and New Zealand,” said Chad Polley, Geotab’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, for Australia. “We are excited to expand our local workforce and partner network in Australia. This expansion into the region provides a great opportunity for Australia’s technology experts to join a company that’s successful both locally and globally.”

Geotab will be an exhibitor at the Brisbane Truck Show, held May 16-19 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. To learn more about the company and its connected transportation solutions, visit booth No. 302 on the plaza level.
