Global fleet management leader honored for strong overall market performance

Toronto, Ontario – June 8, 2016 – Geotab, the leading open platform in telematics with more than 500,000 vehicles in 70 countries, today announced it has earned the 2016 Frost & Sullivan North American Product Leadership Award, which is part of the Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Awards. A compelling, third-party validation of a company's growth strategy and execution, the award is a strong indicator to employees, customers, and the public that Geotab has best-in-class telematics solutions in the portable telematics solutions market. The Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Awards have identified exemplary achievements within a multitude of industries and functional disciplines for the last 16 years.

"We at Geotab are honored to receive such an accolade from a market research and consulting firm as esteemed as Frost & Sullivan," said Geotab CEO Neil Cawse. "Continued product excellence in the fleet management space and providing our customers with the solutions they need for superior fleet operations is our priority, and to have that dedication and success recognized industry wide is truly an honor."

As noted by Frost & Sullivan, Geotab's motivation for innovation is based on five core pillars: productivity, safety, fleet optimization, regulatory compliance and expandability. Geotab's telematics solution enables fleet management companies to effectively plan and run operations. A combination of its technologically advanced Geotab GO7 hardware, the highly scalable MyGeotab platform and powerful tracking algorithms allow fleet managers to track vehicles in real time and provide actionable alerts to drivers. Customers gain an in-depth understanding of fleet movement, equipment health, stoppages and routing problems to ensure optimal time management and consumer satisfaction.

"Geotab's hardware engineering and software development success has made it a one-stop fleet management solution provider, while most competitors specialize in one or the other," said Frost & Sullivan Senior Analyst Krishna Chaithanya. "Due to its ability to offer customers technologically superior services compared to other telematics companies in North America, Geotab has witnessed remarkable earnings growth. Company revenue stood at $76 million in 2015, up from $59 million in 2014. The company estimated that its 2016 revenue would exceed $105 million."

Geotab and the other recipients of the Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Awards will be honored at the 2016 Excellence in Best Practices Awards Gala on July 13, 2016 in Asheville, NC.
